July 24, 2002 — In case you’ve attempted it all — creams, pills, knead wraps, suction medications — and are still plagued by cellulite, here’s yet another confident alternative. It’s called dermolysis, and whereas its innovator is energized around it, other stylish surgeons are doubtful.
A supernatural occurrence remedy? “I wouldn’t go that distant, but it’s exceptionally energizing, and it does work,” says Stephen Giunta, MD, president of RejuveSkin Clinics, and an aesthetic plastic specialist with over 30 years’ experience.
Cellulite may be a byproduct of gravity, he says. “The layer of fat between the skin and muscle — which is imperative for insulation, protection — is held in put against gravity by collagenous protein fibers called septae.
